Fresh Crimson Jobfish (Khopra) – Firm, Juicy & Excellent for Frying
Crimson Jobfish, locally known as Khopra, is a premium saltwater fish valued for its firm texture, juicy flesh, and clean, mildly rich flavor. It is a popular choice for buyers who want a reliable frying fish that delivers a satisfying bite without becoming dry or flaky.
The meat is dense yet tender, allowing it to cook evenly and hold its shape during high-heat cooking. Khopra absorbs marinades and spices smoothly, making it ideal for masala fry, shallow frying, and pan-seared dishes. Its balanced flavor profile works equally well with light seasoning or classic desi spices, making it suitable for both everyday meals and special home cooking.
