Fresh Rohu Fish (Rahu) – Classic Pakistani Fish for Rich Curries
Rohu Fish, locally known as Rahu, is one of the most popular freshwater fish in Pakistan, widely loved for its distinct flavor and curry-friendly texture. It has a moderately firm yet tender flesh that absorbs spices deeply, making it a staple for traditional desi cooking.
Rahu performs exceptionally well in slow-cooked gravies, where its flavor develops fully without the meat falling apart. Its taste is slightly rich with an earthy undertone, which pairs perfectly with onion-tomato masala, garlic, ginger, and whole spices. With a good meat-to-bone ratio, Rohu is ideal for family meals and festive lunches.
Anbar Fish ensures Rohu Fish is freshly cleaned, hygienically prepared, and delivered through a nationwide cold-chain system, so customers across Pakistan receive consistent quality and freshness.
